Mandarin Honey Garlic Ribs and Wings
Divinely sweet and sticky, all because we discovered the magic "sticky" ingredient!:
consomme. it really does preserve the moistness and give the consistency we love.
2 tbsp molasses 25ml
1/4 cup honey 50ml
2 tbsp soy sauce 25ml
4 cloves garlic minced 4
1tbsp hoisin sauce 15ml
1 can (10 oz/284 ml) beef consomme 1
1 1/2lb chicken wings, tips removed 750g
1 1/2 lbs pork side ribs, cut in rib-size portions 750g
1. Preheat oven to 375F (190C).
2. In a small bowl combine molasses, honey, soy sauce, garlic, hoisin sauce, and consomme; stir well.
3. In a shallow baking dish arrange ribs and wings. Pour sauce over, cover and marinate 1 hour in refregirator.
4. Bake, uncovered, for 40-45 minutes until meat is tender and sauce is sticky.
