This is my there is no recipe, recipe.
1. Open a bottle of beer; start drinking.
2. In a large frying pan add 2 tbl. Spoons of a good quality olive oil.
Place 4 large spicy Italian sausages; cook for about 10 mins until
cooked thru.
3. In a large deep pot add another 2 tbl. Spoons of olive oil and 2
large minced cloves of garlic, one cup each of finely chopped
celery, onion & green pepper; sauté for 6 to 8 mins. Then add 3
cups of organic chicken broth & a cup of brown rice blend,
(blended with wild rice; quinoa) and ½ cup of red lintels. Bring to
a boil. Then lower heat for about 20 mins.
4. Meanwhile open another beer if it is empty; continue drinking.
Then back to the sausages. After they have cooked thru about 10
mins (=,-) remove from fry pan and slice in two along the length.
Place back into the fry pan cut side down; cook till a light to
medium brown char is achieved. Once completed remove from
pan; cut up into ½” thick slices. Then add to the rice mixture
with all the dregs in the pan and continue with cooking this
mixture for another 20 to 30 mins adding more chicken broth if
necessary until the rice is cooked.
5. Open another beer, eat, and take a nap.
